Turtle Island is the whole Earth swimming through the Cosmos. Turtle Island was the Native American name for the North American Continent, (and I was told that many different tribes called it that, even the landlocked ones). The Turtle has represented the Earth in many ancient cultures, thus the Spirit of Turtle holds the energy of the consciousness of our Planet. I was given this vision on one of my first medicine journeys ever. I saw the dolphins orbiting around the sentient Gaia, acting as a bridge between here and the higher cosmic dimensions, a sort of a rainbow bridge.
A digital work from 2010, inspired by medicine journey visions that were fresh after my first visit to Peru. Since then, I have connected to the Turtle Spirit even more and I find that sometimes Mother Earth will show herself as a turtle. The dolphins are circling around her creating a vortex of energy and connecting her/us to the higher realms and making a rainbow bridge. One of the most popular pieces and I find that people who connect with the Ocean deeply like I do, probably old soul Lemurians, love this piece.
