The Feminine principle has been suppressed for thousands of years of known history, and is coming back, in many different ways. Ancient cultures were connected to the Feminine. Some of that we can still see in their art. The inspiration for this painting came from an image of a Greek gold figurine of Isis. She is equally sexy and divine, and this is a very close representation of the figurine, using its photo as a reference, after creating an abstract red/purple background. I was painting this at several festivals, during 2017-18, and unexpected rain in the outdoor environment contributed to some of the textures of the background. At one point, I suddenly saw that the "flower of life" geometry (which has been found etched into ancient Egyptian stone structures in laser like ways using technology we don't understand) fit perfectly with her body and the angle of her arms is perfectly aligned with this geometry, so I had no choice but to place it behind her.
